Most of the major Canadian banks will have brokerages and you can open trading accounts with them e.g. TD Canada Trust has TD Waterhouse as its brokerage. And you can open trading accounts that are inside your RRSP or outside it (whatever you prefer). You have choices to open US$ accounts (for trading in US$ which is convenient for US stocks) or CDN$ accounts. You'll also find a whole host of online brokers on the web. They typically require US$ accounts. As for the actually trading strategies. Of course you'll see a number of different options out there.
