- According to a 1999 document by the SEC detailing online trade transactions, 25% of all stock trades are completed online. Simply by the knowledge that stock trading online has continued to rise, options A and D are ruled out. In 2000, the percentage was estimated at around 33% (second source). I couldn't find an exact answer, but hopefully I at least helped to narrow your field of search down.
