- Both you listed software packages are pretty obscure. The big names are MetaStock (all securities), Investors FastTrack for mutumal funds, Telecharts for Stocks. There is also a lot of variation in investment approach. If you are looking to get rich quick, it does't matter much which sofware you use, none for well. Of the packages listed above, Metastock and TC are timing oriented. FastTrack is for bulding a portfolio of funds that returns more than the market with less risk . . . a far simpler task than timing.
