Hi, does anyone have any advice on how I can easily learn how to trade in stocks starting from the basics.?
I need basic abbreviations and the terms. Keep in mind that am not the smartest person on earth, so a layman's language would be of great help. Thanks

- look at these two web sights and get the free books: Scottstrade.com Tdamericatrade.com
- Open a brokerage account at Zecco and I will help you for FREE. (I am a Portfolio Manager)
- you need a couple of books on trading.and then practice on paper for 6 months... and see where you went right for your winners and where you went wrong for your loosers............
- You want a good layman's terms source go get the book "Investing for Dummies". They do a good job of explaining things in an easy to understand manner. There are plenty of free resources on the internet, but many of them start talking in "Wall Street" language making it hard for a beginner. You may want to visit vanguard.com to learn about mutual funds and index funds instead of starting with "individual" stocks. Trading "individual" stocks is very tricky even for those with experience.
