Does Sabre (Global Distribution System) process more transactions per second than the NYSE?
I'm trying to explain to a banker that GDSs are BIG league transaction processing. Sabre's functions are obviously richer than simple stock trades, but in absolute terms does a GDS process more transactions per second? I've used Sabre as the example GDS because I think it is the biggest but Amadeus would also do; similarly is there a SE bigger than NYSE?
