Please help me for stock trading?
Lets say i currently have $1000 and i wanna do online stock trading with it....... where shall i do it from?? (etrade or scottrade or ameritrade etc...) what will they charge me when i cashout the money?? I live in the middle east........I m a non US resident....so do i have to pay tax for those stocks....... I wanna trade stock for a short term(6-12 months) to make at least 50% profit and then i will sell the stocks to cashout: which companies stock shall i buy? Why shall i buy stock of tht company?

- The goals you have set out are pretty unrealistic. You might make 50% in 6-12 months but you will take a lot of risk in accomplishing it (i.e. you will have an undiversified portfolio). As a non-US resident you will probably have to at least pay witholding taxes.
