Is it appropriate to say the stock market crashed or the DOW and NASDAQ hit a record Low?

1. Record low. Crashed seems appropriate when you're talking about the Depression.

3. Not right now if that's what you mean. And it would be more appropriate to say a low for x years, because an all time low for the whole market is quiet impossible.
