What is your strategy to make money in the stock market?
I just wanted to hear theories for making money in socks. I usually look for solid large growth companies and throw in some small-caps for their potential.

- Right now, I am buying on weakness and selling on strength in the high volatility of the housing and mortgage markets. The housing recession and sub-prime disaster is causing heavy fluctuation on stocks that have been driven down. It is risky but has been working. For the most part, my trades have occurred after a 40-50% increase. I hit 1 triple and a near double. So far it has worked well but it can be really nerve racking.
- Time in the market, not market timing is the path I follow. In the past, I have bought stocks in companies that have raised their dividend each year for at least 10+ consecutive years and that make products everyone needs, uses up quickly and needs to buy more (oil, electricity, natural gas, drugs, soaps, business services etc.). Now I live off my dividends & receive up to 17% yield per year from my original investment
- The investment climate in this new era has changed dramatically. Your style of investment is trading on HOPE.Have you noticed that you end up in a waiting game and missed lots of opportunities in other moving stocks?Your timing is out of alignment. As time past, your energy will become worn-off. So what's the formula...research the stock, keep tracking on it before you zoom-in and the most vital arsenal in your toolbox is "Technical Charting"..try to believe it if you're not. Charting helps you in one way when to enter and exit.Investing for long term are good for fund management companies while as for small investors, which is better? Increasing your nest-egg or wait for the goose to lay the golden egg! Good luck investing from, http://horizonchange.blogspot.com/
- I try to narrow it down to strong sectors first, then strong stocks within the sector.
