1. No, the subprime defaults are being blown out of proportion. 9 out of 10 are in good standing. If there was going to be a panicked it would be too late already.
2. No big sell off, but one step forward- two steps back for awhile.
3. problems with mortgages will continue on i am afraid.
4. no one can really tell you this, and if they say they can, they are full of it. :) it's impossible to say what the market is going to do in the future. however, heavy volatility has been the rule lately, and that may well persist. whether the volatility is on the upward or downward side...who knows.
