How many people invest in Indian stock market?
Is it possible to know roughly the number of people investing in the Indian stock market? from where n how do i get to know this? I need to conduct a survey for my research. For this I need to first know the population of people investing in the stock market from which I have to calculate the appropriate sample. Please help. Thank u

- HI....when the market closes the whole data comes like how much FII has bought and what our local INVESTORS has done.for more details you can visit sebi.gov.in. It comes with 10yr month to month data
- Maybe 1% of the population of India. Just a guess on my part. There are a lot of people world wide however that invest in Indian stocks. I do for example. Maybe 1% of the population of GB, US, and Germany. Maybe.
