  1. i am interested in this as well
  2. Not sure what you mean by system. Indexing and diversification have been the only time tested methods for investing. Basically, by indexing you own the whole market. Short-term, you shouldn't be looking to invest in stocks. You can lose a lot of money quick in stocks. Short-term investments are better off in money markets, CD's, savings accounts..etc If you need help getting started my website is below and will try to answer any more questions you have.
  3. Common sense, buy low sell high, and if it's too good to be true it is.
  4. If you are asking for advices to trade, buy low and sell high. Always try to buy when there is a bear rally or a down day. And not really on an up day unless the point you buy is still at its low. Also, even if you see that the stock might be going up and you think you might be missing the opportunity...don't worry...chances are...stocks go up and down...so you might be able to buy it at the price you want. Don't try to chase after the stock. For short term, when you see a decent profit, take the profit and get back in once the price of the stock drops.
