1. you cannot invest directly into the indian stock market. you have to go through a broker or you should become a broker spending close to 50 lakh to 1 crore
2. If you want to invest in the stock market, there are 2 ways of investing. One, in the primary market which consists of IPOs and the second way is he secondary market whcih consists of buying and selling of stocks of currently listed companies. In both the scenarios, you need to invest via broker. Examples of Brokerage firms are Indiabulls,Religare, Reliance Money etc.
