3. While it's easy to point fingers at whomever is in charge, the economy and markets usually have little do with whomever is in office at the time. The Nasdaq crashed while Clinton was around but it wasn't his fault. It was simply the dotcom bubble bursting when investors realised that e-commerce was a sham and there was nothing holding it up. In the end all tech stocks crashed due to the selling frenzy of any tech stock regardless of whether it had anything to do with e-commerce or not.
