How did the stock market crash of 1929 affect small farmers in the midwest?
I have an MBA in marketing, so all I need are some ideas, and I'll thank you and take it from there...

- Following the crash of the stock market was the drought of the 30's which caused the farmers to lose production of crops. That was compounded by the closing and bankruptcy of the banks those farmers had their money in.
- Housing and land values started declining in 1925. It wasn't until 1932 that the bottom was in for housing and land values. Agriculture was especially hurt because of the drought (dust bowl) of the mid-1930s. I found a great article for you that you that will help your research: http://www.english.uiuc.edu/maps/depression/depression.htm
