  1. for cheap trades tradeking.com i mostly use schwab.com because i like the streetsmart pro software. you can also look at Fidelity.com , Ameritrade.com , etrade.com , scottrade.com
  2. The only reasonable one is really. Sharebuilder.com But only invest a decent amount at least $100 in each stock, Becuase it cost $4 to buy the 15$ to sell the stock. That is the part they don't tell you. Basically though if you had 5,000 I would invest in 15 different stocks at $333.33 apiece, I would wait atleast 6 months before touching them, Set them to Re- Invest all divendeds, if you pick well in 6 months you have 7500 in your portfolio, let it sit another 6 months, till you have 10,000 then Set the account to put your dividends into a money market that you can withdrawl from sharebuilder for free! , you woul prob get around 250 a month, for the rest of your life!, if you ever wanted to switch the account back to re invest let it build to... 15 or 20 grand, by the time your investment is in their for 15 years, if you let it ride that long it could be 50,000-60,000 and you make 4,000 a month in divdends...... That is a answer froma amateur with only a sharebuilder account worth 650$, started with 320 though....
  3. Richard, stay off the crack, will ya? Sharebuilder is great, if you are going to invest every week or month and are willing to have it done automatically. But Really!! A 30% annual dividend yield?!? Not reality. If you want to buy and sell at a whim try scottrade.com, or check out Trade's recommendations. Watch ou for account minimums and inactivity fees.
