1. Any economic/social event will have a contangion effecr(spill over)...because there are always interconnections. For example, when a major economic event takes place(merger of a big company), it affects the expectations of the people and it reflects in the changes in the stock prices. Information is very imp in an economy. If US is in recession it effects other countries which are trading with it. Does it make sense?
