why is indian stock market falling while the commodity market showing a contineous uptrend?

Public Comments

  1. Because the were BILLIONS of Indian dollars invested in the AmeriKan housing market... and all the deadbeats with bad credit that bought houses, defaulted... so the whole world is going down the tubes... thanks to AmeriKa.
  2. Commodity prices are tied to cash more closely than stock as REAL value. So inflation is the cause the uptrend in commodities continues by the Indian Government's monetary policy and manufacturing demand for REAL commodities are not fiction. Stock prices however are based on current perception of value of the last trading price. No one really needs stocks but commodities are absolutely needed by society to exist.
  3. Commodity market is more influenced by climatic factors and in some cases like crude and gold, is influenced by political factors. So the commodity market is somewhat alienated from economic decisions. But the stock market is directly influenced by political and economic decisions as they affect the company's earnings directly.
