What are some major events in 2008?????????
im doing a research paper for my economics class and i need current events in 2008 that affect the economy like for example / market plunge around the world (jan. 21) responding to the fear that the US is headed for an inminent recession, stock market falls drastically in franfurt, mumbia, hong kong, paris, london, and other major cities in europe and asia. please help . any help will be appriciated you should tell that to my teacher :) i guess that can work too

- well it's only been 2008 for 4 months, not a whole lot of time to have a major event........ could you say anything about taxes, i know it's a yearly thing but maybe?
