If McCain becomes president, how do you think that the stock market will be affected by this news?

- THUNK
- It will continue to do its normal activity.... Think about the other option, wow....can you say the end to western civilization....
- Most likely it will be the worse with Obama. May not change much with McCain and won't change much with Clinton. May go up slightly with Clinton.
- It will go up compared to crashing and burning if Obama gets in.
- Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think you are asking is what will happen to the economy if McCain is elected. McCain himself has said he has little economic experience. So did FDR when he led us out of the Great Depression. McCain has surrounded himself with economic experts, just as FDR did.
- It will be a good day, and then the next day will be profit taking.
- The market will decline because of the uncertainty based on his lack of economic knowledge.
- The economy allways jumps when someone new is elected, atleast stocks do. The economy then will probably go back to how it was before the election, but McCain will have economy experts to help him.
- The stock market will increase. If for no other reason, McCain has promised to keep the tax cuts. Remove the tax cuts and stocks are suddenly a much less worthwhile investment.
- My portfolio will sky rocket!
