Should Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft Be Sued over the lack of PS3,Wii,and XBOX360s ?
I know that XBOX360 and Wii are more obtainable in some areas, except during the Christmas holiday, but who here thinks that these companies should be sued to the fullest extent of the law for deliberately not meeting consumer demand in order to price gouge and cause pandimonium, and also convict the people who are more or less "scalping" these systems by pre-ordering through contacts months in advance, then turning around and reselling them for as much as 6 times their actual value? I see online where places such as Ebay have PS3s anywhere from $100 over the actual MSRP to $4000 over and this very thing happend last season with the XBOX 360, it's an obvious market scam and I feel these companies owe the consumers restitution by some means and preferably a criminal lawsuit. If you remember Microsoft even came under fire for the first run of the XBOX 360s due to them "burning up", in other words they were cheaply made, highly marketed and poorly stocked. It pisses me off how they do. This is an additional note for all of you posting back to me saying I'm crazy for thinking this or telling me " It's perfectly normal to price gouge" No it's not, in fact if you will do some minor research you'll see it borders what is called "anti-trust" which is unfair business pratices such as "price-fixing and predatory pricing" from the business upon the consumer. So yes it IS wrong and maybe even illegal if anyone of you had the balls to stand up and challenge this, instead of lying down and accepting such ridiculously high costs.

- They should be sued for charging so much for a toy!
- No (And Centurion, you're wrong too) They are not obligated by ANY means to have a certain supply in the market. They weren't even obligated to MAKE the systems, and now you're saying they should be sued for not making enough? The "fullest extent of the law", to quote you, is "not at all."
- They shouldn't be sued. They keep demand up by keeping supply low. A company can't be sued for that kind of selling technique. They know people want the systems bad enough to run out and buy one as soon as they're available and at almost any price. It's more genius than anything else.
- they shouldn't be sued, that's how they sell more anyway. Have a lower supply with higher demand, and then when they have more made, people will pay more for them.
- i think so too...i mean its fucking cheap for the companies to make the products but they sell it for half a grand...not only that but its christmas and they only have "limited amount" wat the hell is that...they should be sued
- come on, sueing them? i think its hard for them to stock up when the products first come out becuase its sold out everywhere. it is a scam on the people who sell them on e-bay's part because the only reason somepople camp out to buy them is becuase they want to sell it off ebay and make more money. its not necessarily the companys fault because they would get money out of it if it was their scam
- do you know how many lawyers each of those companies have. good luck my friend
- Why,no
