1928 Stock Market Crash!?
I need help for social studies. I need to write like two little journal entries as a poor person living in a Hooverville because of the 1928 Stock market crash and Black Tuesday! Any Ideas?? Please HURRY its due TOMOROW!! Thanks!!!!

- Talk about what life was like before the crash in one and after in the other
- well i read a book once about this. The kids would go to the bakery and dig in the trash for left over bread and old food to eat. They would also save gum wrappers and tin foil and stuff so they could sell it for a couple pennies. Back in the day a couple pennies were a lot. I also asked my Grandpa what they eat back in the day and he said when the depression was a round they didnt really have any food so he would eat lard sandwiches. ya its really grose but just like two pieces of bread and some crisco. Because thats all they could aford. and alot of people started raising chickens and stuff so they could eat them and people would grow their own gardens just for some food.
