  1. The cheapest stocks are many, less than a penny a share, and not worth that much. The most expensive stock, by a wide margin, is Berkshire A at over 135,000 per share. Check out http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=brk-a
  2. Your question is not exactly clear as to your meaning. Do you mean most expensive as in highest priced or do you mean most expensive as in most overvalued? And as for cheapest, the most under valued or the lowest priced? The highest priced that I know of is Berkshire A at $135,500 a share. The lowest priced is hard to determine. There are a bunch of stocks in bankrupcy proceeding that trade at a fraction of a cent a share. One way to determine the relative overvaluation of a company is by comparing its price to book value. This is not a fool proof indicator but it can certain give an idea, assuming the company has a book value. Quite a few do not. Here is one that certainly meets that qualification for being overvalued: Global Brands Acquisition. GQN. Book value $7,200. Market capitalization: $66,125,000. Not only that but the company has no revenue. Nothing. This one has to rank right up there among the most overvalued. As for undervalued, that is a difficult one to judge but again we can use price to book value to get some candidates, then maybe also price/earnings, dividend. Actually there are a LOT of ratios that can and are used to find undervalued stocks. It is one of the favorite pass times of stock analysts. I don't know if this particular candidate qualifies as the most under valued but it certainly is near the top of the class. Morgan Stanley China A Share Fund book value: $57.81 stock price: $43.32.
