- why invest in india when you can invest in pakistan pakistan zindabad
- he can . thru icici indiabulls.. and many other broker firms online
- The first answeror to this Q does not seem to have read the Q. properly. It is his "IN DIAN" friend he has said. Why the Indian friend would think of investing in Pak? OK Any way Poor Chap! Yes! Your Frnd. can invest so. But just you/he will have to got known all the special rules for NIRs. Search in Google or any Indian Stock Market site like Reliance/Sharekhan/India Bulls etc.
- Your friend has to get RBI approvals, get DMAT account fro trading and he can open account through any Banks and start to operate. He can also try to Trade through share brokers or Investment Bankers depends on the amount they have.*
- Is he American Indian? Or curry eating Indian from India? If he wants to invest in India, then he can do so thru ETF from India.
- One can invest in indian market with out staying in india with following 1. He needs RBI approval under NRI a/c, He needs to feel a form with the brocker he will trade and submit it to the respective official(done by brocker) 2. he can trade with brockers like, HDFC sec. , ICICI bank, they can provide demat linked bank a/c and trading a/c for the same. -------------------- Other way of investing is thru Mutual funds, it will require less legal work and easy to buy and redeem. The good funds currently in india are, Infrastructure funds from tata Reliance Natural resources fund. SBI magnum fund.
- He need to get RBI and SEBI's permission. More legal procedures!. Alternatively he can open account for his parents or some relative who is staying in India which is much simpler. I am a franchise of Share Brokerage company. If he is interested to open an account please let me know. By the way I would like to know the native place of your friend. Thanks.
