  1. What's worse is ones with money will jump in. Wait until Dubai owns AT&T!
  2. They'll drop the dollar but invest . . . Saudi Arabia put together a sovereign wealth fund last month . . . they know it's going to get a lot worse and are waiting.
  3. The effect would be very negative, but what else are they going to do with their money? All the markets are in bad shape. The conventional wisdom says to leave the money where it is and sit tight.
  4. if china calls in its debts on us, we are absolutely screwed. dollar falls to a fourth of its value and we are left with a huge unmanageable debt of over 40 trillion dollars including credits and contracts (something which the government does not openly report on. the 9 trillion dollar figure you keep hearing is CASH ONLY derived from the M1 statistic.) basically, we need to redo the system entirely. stop spending money we dont have. stop making new money to pretend like we have it. stop the stranglehold the FED has on our money system and value. no one in the race is talking about these issues except one person. really there is no choice for me. only common sense. Abolish the FED Stop all unnecessary government spending Restore the dollar to a monetary standard vote ron paul for real change you can read his views out of the writings from his 17 year history and record in the US congress on the website provided. he has not changed his values or ideals in all that time.
  5. Not if they are smart. When the market drops that's when you get good buys on undervalued stocks.
  6. Some will "pull out", many will transfer to other stocks, but,the market ,in general, will not be settling down,soon....New money, from, shall we say, less desirable countries, will fill some of the gaps, but,in the long run, America, will pay dearly......
  7. If the dollar can stay relatively strong amidst the interest rate cut, then hopefully not.
  8. They're pulling out in droves right now.
