With the stock markets in free fall as reported by BBC news?

and the sub prime markets in a depression and talk of an American recession. My question is do you think there will be a recession in 2008. Next week is George Bush's last State of the Union Address of his presedency what more bad news has he got install for us. When the American stock markets catch a cold the rest of the world starts sniffling.

1. I have no sympathy for speculators, and others who try to profit from trading on the stock market. For every gain, there is a loss. The stock market being in free fall can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. There may very well be a recession in 08 or 09, but one created by fear and greed.
