  1. Business - and then learn the trade with experience in the field for a firm.
  2. Stock Market, is that place where a Legal Gambling can be done. Play with care and you will definately get something
  3. Finance. Stock market is like swimming, you cannot learn both in a class room :)
  4. I have been watching the stock market ever since I invested in it back in 1995. he secret to the stock market is which stock to buy and when to sale. I purchased stock with Suntrust back when it was 25.3 and last year in 2007 it hit 75 and I sold my stock. I won;t say what exactly I made online, but lets say I cashed in very good. My reason to cash in was that I quit playing the stock market. I made mine and bailed out. My partner had stock in American Airlines. I told him to bail out when he had around $160,000 and he wanted to leave it in one more day and guess what...BANG 9/11 struck...he lost his butt. To this day we still talk about why he never listened to me. He got greedy and lost a chunk. All those years in investing gone down the tubes. Playing the stock market is great when you have money to make money and watch it go up and down and steadly climb over the years. Georgia Pacific is pretty good stock too. So if you want to play the stock market I would suggest watching it for awhile and pick out the ones you like and watch it for a few years and see how it does then buy and sit back, grab a few cold ones and watch for the next ten years to see how you make out and don't sale if it drops just hang in there and watch it go up and down and finally as the years go on it climbs up and keeps going up and then you sale like I did and make your profits.
  5. business major that includes course work in finance and accounting will cover the fundamental analysis used to evaluate financial statements. This sort of fundamental analysis is one approach to stock market investing, and is a good foundation. Most college programs do not teach market timing, technical analysis or trading strategies. In my opinion, an investor or trader must understand both fundamental and technical analysis.
  6. Finance really doesn't get into it too much, neither does economics. Major in what you want to major in, and take specific classes that talk about the stock market. A lot of this stuff you will learn on your own because it's not discussed much in any classroom setting.
  7. Best way to learn is to move to Chicago or New York and become a clerk at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange or the New York Stock Exchange. The salary is small, but you learn the ropes and work your way up.
