Does Scottrade handle non-US markets?
can i buy non-US stocks via Scottrade? i want to buy stocks that are listed in Singapore, Hong Kong, Toronto and Frankfurt, among others. i have heard that you can at Charles Schwab (anywhere else?), but i like what i know of Scottrade's prices, but i fear that the cheapness comes at the cost of being limited to the US markets. any comments would be appreciated, thanks!

- For an additional fee you can buy some of the Toronto Exchange I believe. As a discount broker, not full-service, there are limits on what they can do for you, but you can call them before being a customer and find out for sure: 1.800.619.SAVE
