Which stock trading book is right for me?
Hi everyone, I'm very new to trading. I've started studying how to trade stocks and am already looking forward to reading a second book. I'm looking for an intermediate level book that emphasizes how to analyze companies, what tools to use to analyze them, and if possible, sites that are good for such analysis. What book do you recommend for me? Tx in advance.

- Well to be honest, anything by Jim Cramer.
- How solid is your financial foundation? If you don't have a solid and deep enough foundation, what will you do if the your roof and walls fall down? I am completely not opposed to playing the market but I'd highly recommend you don't play the market unless you are certain that you have a solid financial foundation.
- The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing (Revised Edition) (Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing) by Jason Kelly Rule #1: The Simple Strategy for Successful Investing in Only 15 Minutes a Week! by Phil Town Jim Cramer's Real Money: Sane Investing in an Insane World by James J. - A little more info would help. What would you define as intermediate? (i.e, What level are you already at?) Can you read a company's balance sheet; 10Q or 10K reports? Do you know the difference between an income statement and a cash flow statement? Can you chart a stock? Recognize support and resistance levels? Have you ever used technical overlays? Different needs require different books. First off, Cramer is a fool. Listen to him only if you want to be a noise trader and lose money, fast. If you don't know how do research, fundamental and technical analysis, then ignore him, his books, his buttons, and his show. Second, if you want to be an investor, and put in the time and effort to gradually learn these things, then read: 'One Up On Wall Street' - Peter Lynch 'The Way of the Turtle' - Curtis Faith The best technical analysis tools and tutorials I've come across have actually been on the web. Some have been free, and some there have come with a slight fee. But all have been worth the time and effort. BTW, I've been trading AND investing for over 15 years, managing my own retirement accounts, and my family's trust.
- It will take more than 2 books, and the more you read the less you will understand the system. I think cramer's books are interesting and fun to read, more helpful would be the black swan, and wolf of wall street, The black swan is more theory and wolf of wall street is just a good book that tells a story inside walls street. I also think rich dad's prophecy has some interesting points. There are more on www.novelwagon.com. Hope you find a good one.
