why are stock quotes updated cst. Market is eastern (edt)?
Times reported are the Eastern United States time zone. The U.S. stock markets are open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. so.....why??? I am edt. I'm talking about the new "my yahoo!" page that now shows cst update on stock market quotes. How do I get this back to current eastern like it was before?today.

- Maybe it's where you live. I live on the east coast and see the stocks in real time, and updated on the east coast. Where is your source.. Yahoo? Some brokerage website? Might have something to do with what you are seeing.
