whats the lowest cost for online stock trading?

i only want to put in about $500 and I want the lowest possible commission price per trade the best i found so far is scottrade @ $7 per trade

1. Scottrade is the best. $7/trades. If you trade stocks below a dollar you will also pay 1/2 of 1% of the principal. Their online software is great. Real-time quotes. Scottrade has many physical offices throughout the USA.
