Stock Markets Exposed

What will happen to Malaysia if non-malays leave?

I understand most of the chinese have left Malaysia, and now the indians are angry with malaysia and slowly moving out. What do you think will happen to Malaysia when the country has only malays left? Will the bumiputra policies still be relevant or will some malays claim to be MORE malay than others to get benefits under the system? There will no longer be any chinese new year and deepavali and malaysia will be short of a few public holidays. All companies will shut down 5 times a day for sembayang and the stock market will be have its boards without any activity for 5 times daily. Once the mosque sounds the prayer call, all traffic comes to a standstill and the hawker leaves the food half-cooked. Will such a country progress or become a laughing stock of Asia? Do you think allah had the foresight for this?

Public Comments

  1. It will evaporate or explode. One of the two.
  2. Malaysia is on its rapid course to become another Afghanistan, pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Religious extremists become more vocal and issue fatwas regularly to decide public life. Women will lose their rights and strict estremist laws will be introduced. There will be stoning to death of anyone who questions their religious authority. there won't be any human rights as all the rights will be interpreted as from God. Malaysia will become a big headache for ASEAN, as other neighbouring countries will also be affected because of this problem. Businesses will close down so also the tourism. Total destruction of mankind in malaysia
  3. Doraemon will be in need again..
  4. If non-malay leave-I guess we won't achieve Wawasan 2020.And the economy will run slower. We need chineses and and Indian altogether to run this country,
  5. no more aramai tii in sabah...hehehe
  6. mmmm... deja vu....
  7. nah....the non malays arent as stupid as you think...even if they leave, where will they go to? u think india is gonna support the malaysian indians, or the malaysian chinese when they return to china? they'll be better of elsewhere than their motherland im sure.
  8. Good, the consequences will let the whole world know, who are the one working hard, contributing to the country while being condemned and who are the one enjoying and ripping all the benefits from others while self-praised ... oopps, corrrection, the whole world already know about it even before the consequences, it is so darn obvious ...
  9. It wont happen, if i does economy will falls
  10. STOP being racist!!!
  11. well, u see, the indians a educated and there can go anywhere out of Malaysia......Most Of the indians have migrated to London,Usa,Singapore,Dubai,Australia.............so do the Chinese................ Malaysia is running on Chinese Economy Population, Without Chinese, Malaysia's Economy will Fall....... The Indians have a lot to do also.........Most of the Rubber Farm is Indians.......Without Indians, Malaysia Rubber Economy will Fall........... After all these, the Malays Not even playing their part as a Malaysians, they contributed nothing for Malaysia...... Moreover, the Malays are not originated from Malaysia either.......They are also like chinise & Indians, coming from other country like Jawa, Sumetra, Brunei.......... So if they want the Indians to leave, the Malays should leave too.......... Get it......... malay.........Didnt no where they Came from & and talking Bad about Indians & Chinese...... HA
  12. haha... with the discrimination and bad reputation of the Malaysian police.. even Singaporeans who used to frequent Malaysia gets chased away! Singaporeans are now going to Thailand for their holidays! Their streets are definitely safer than in Malaysia, they serve multinational food, not just halal food and have pork burgers in their McDonalds menu!
  13. I enjoy staying here rather than going back to my village hometown in China.
  14. the country will still keep its name, Malaysia. I guess...........
  15. To those who believe that Malays came from Indonesia, read the history carefully. Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia were supposed to be one. It was the Dutch and the English who separated us. It was one before the Western powers came and sometomes unified through empires like Srivijaya, Majapahit and to the lesser extent, Malacca. Even after the fall of Malacca, Riau was still part of Johor Sultanate. Don't tell me these are different lands just because it's divided by the Strait of Malacca. All people of this race (be it Javanese, Sundanese, Achehnese, Minangkabau, Bugis or original Malay ethnic etc) come from Malay Archipelago i.e Nusantara. Nusantara is one land successfully divided, politically and mentally, by Anglo-Dutch Treaty. Pls note that not in anyway I'm touching the issue of Malay supremacy which I don't support.
  16. They call us back.
  17. msia will be a very peaceful place to live
  18. I am an expatriate working in Malaysia and I am Uruguayan. The 1st thing which makes me fall in love with this country is the harmonious relations among all races in this country. In fact i love it and it is something we could not even see in other country with this such tolerancies among races.. I'm proud to be part of it and witnessing this situations.. But if the asker need the answer for his question here I shall say with my experience and thoughts in the moslem countries. Look at Saudi Arabia.. It might happen like that..During the prayer call i'd witnessed they all leave their shop opened and there are no stolen or robbery.. The only thing they do is going to the mosque.. Not even in my home country have that kind of situation. Thus, if this would happen then there will be different people who will run this country. Of course the country will progress. Look at the halal product market. Its such a huge market.. Without doubt moslem country especially from the Middle East will come to Malaysia for the purposes. By the way this might end the capitalism which had been so long in this country. The ringgit will probably become dinars and probably the big brothers from the west might feel uneasy with this situation.
  19. We can go on and on about what would happen to this and that when this and that happened. If you want to know what's going to happen to Mal if what you ask happen. Just look across the straits of Malacca. Prime example. Non-malay will not ALL leave MAL. impossible. But they will continue to suffer prejudice and discrimination all their lives because not all NON-Malay have the money to leave. They have no where to go. Even if they do have the maens to leave, they will still come back, for the money. With less non=malay left, their expertise will be sort-after. Salary or profit will increase. For money they will stay, but their childrens will be base overseas. But if that day really happens, MAL will collapse for a few years. At the present time, the govt hasn't the mentality to handle this crisis. Same as it's citizen.
  20. No. That won't be Malaysia anyone. Thus that's why people fight for their rights & what they believe is justice regardless of what race & religion. That's why they fight to stay. Not all Malays are lazy, but because of certain attitude and also the bumiputra "protection & aids" thus some abused it and even use their religion as an excuse. Take for an example, there used to be these group of guys that always take breaks in between and even 2-3hours of lunch break for prayers. Until the department got fed up of their low daily productivity rate & they were actually sounded by a few Muslim workers. Eventually they buckle up. They actually "use those time previously to lepak, skip from responsiblities, smoke & just drink coffee". A sensible Muslim worker based on my analysis, yes they will go for prayers during lunch hour but doesn't mean 2 hours+ and there are timing for you to do so if you "missed it" you can perform prayers and another time. Prayers is actually a good ritual, loving god & oneself & besides the action of prayers requires "physical exercise" standing up, bow down & etc. helps relax the mind & etc. I notice those that perform prayers usually come back more relax, more peaceful & fresh. As for Chinese, Indians & other ethnics, no I do not think all will go away. It's in their blood & roots to be in this country. Many Malaysians are actually mix. Although I'm not totally happy with the situation that've been occuring recently, but I'm glad that people unite to fight for their rights. I really don't want Malaysia to end up like other ASEAN countries where certain race are so hardworking & when they become rich their wealth are taken away, their rights are taken away. People divide based on their race & religion, it's like going back to the past when people live in fear & their conquerer/king or etc. try to manipulate their minds so they can never be together. It's not only Chinese they left the country but other race as well, to work or etc. If I want to count out, there are many Malay friends of mine that left to UK & US to study / work as well. As for the bumiputra rights, this "rights" is slowly becoming thin because even the rich ones want part of it. If it's abolish it'll be GREAT! Then everyone study equally that hard, work equally that hard. Don't view things from an angle, if the worst things happen in your eyes. Don't give up & judge things negatively. And I don't believe that Malaysians despite what race, will be that foolish to give up everything for what they've worked for ..to become a developed country...just to create their downfall. I still recall a few years ago, when tsunami occurred. Many people stepped forward to help despite the race. I saw the true nature of people at that time. It's also around the end of the year. That was a natural disaster. While this tsunami are created by human. Like it or not, that's how you'll see the nature of human from another angle. But despite what happened, ask yourself have you done anything to create harmony in this country?
  21. no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......if it become like that,malaysia isn't malaysia anymore.......stop racism!!!!....we're malaysian.....no differences between malay,chinese,indian,singh,iban,etc......when we're overseas.....we won't says that we're malay,chinese,etc.....we said....I AM MALAYSIAN.....
  22. first of all, i dont agree with your question...are u trying to create hatred and anger here ke?and lastly, why are u bringing Allah in your question? btw, mana ada company shut down 5 times a day for sembahyang...jangan tipu lah!!!
  23. BN will lose YAY!!! and maybe Indonesionb will join us too.. HAHAHAHA!!! and maybe i'll marry Jessica Alba!! HAHHAHA!!
  24. You sound so racist towards malays & muslims.. I know who u are.. If u left it wont effect anything due to you're actually not contributing to the nation.. you are an example of typical unsatisfied citizen which can shake the harmony of the citizen of malaysia as a whole. anyway.. hope someone read your Q & track u.. probably detain u under ISA. Answering your Q.. well.. it wont happen anyway.. but if it does happen.. it will just be another country.. same as always.. because nothing is indespensable..
