  1. I have said this too many times already. Don't ask people for investing recomendations. Only trust yourself. You need to devise your own investing strategy. I have traded penny stocks before and I have had very profitable positions before. some things to look out for: Penny stocks tend to be more risky and thus tend to offer the potential for quicker and higher returns. Although one problem with penny stocks are that you need to keep and eye on bid/ask sizes and average volumes as criteria to definatly include in your strategy, unless you are investing less than say 5k, more than that and you may have a substantial price effect from buying or selling, so keep and eye on the sizes. Also used limit order for sure, you don't want to put in an order then have the price jump 10%+ so that when you buy you overdraw your account, in which case you will need to come up with the additional funds before selling.
  2. Avoid penny stocks. I have always lost money when I've invested in penny stocks. They are typically thinly traded, and easily manipulated. Due your own due dilligence on any investment, and remember that the deck is stacked against you with thinly traded stocks.
  3. Look into Owens Corning!! www.pinksheets.com
  4. In order to "do well" with Penney stocks you need a good understanding of; charts, the company, the market, their competitors, what can go right, what can go wrong. An understanding that you can lose 100% of your investment. Too many new investors go straight to Penney stocks to start (thinking this is the best way to make big bucks). Even with a lot of knowledge this can be a fools came..... BEWARE!
  5. I beleive by definition, penny stocks do not trade on any exchanges (NYSE, AMX), they are traded OTC (non nasdaq). The name is a misnomer; penny stocks are generally valued at $5.00 or less per share. Anything traded OTC/Pinksheets has a huge amount of risk. and I would advise against it. If you want to buy cheap stocks look for stocks that are atleast listed. If you invest in penny stocks, please be do all of you homework on the company. You will need to be a fundamental and technical investor to watch all the right signs to invest at the right time.
