Stock Markets Exposed

Can anyone enlighten me regarding the best way to learn investing in the stock market?

I'm hoping to find something to read that is easily understood. Something besides investing for Dummies.

  1. Try Real Money (Jim Cramer). Watch Mad Money (Jim Cramer). Online, try CNN Money, marketwatch, yahoo finance, thestreet.com, fool.com.
  2. Buy one stock. Follow it daily in paper and on cnbc tv. I bought $200 worth in 1966. Continued to buy as often as could afford and now have millions. Best to start an IRA and all put stocks into that program. That way all taxes are defered. All dividends go to buy more stock. That is called a DRIP program or designation of dividends. Do this. $300 per month until you retire and I can almost assure you that you will be a multimillionare. Disipline is the key. Never make interest payments on anything that will be worth less when you sell than when you bought. Example, Automobile
  3. I always recommend MotleyFool.com for anyone, any questions you should find the answer there.
  4. there is a website www.clearstation.com This site allows you to search for stocks, gives an overview of the markets top performers as well as indepth numbers. While looking at the details you can click on almost any ofthe terms and the site gives you a definition of what the term means and what you might want to look for. I'm actually a high school math teacher who just does a lot of research and investing privately. Historically I have a good track record, Currently my portfolio is diversified with both mutual funds as well as stocks and overall I have a return of over 150%.
