What is the best website to go to to learn about investing in stock?
I'm looking for something with very easy to understand instructions like "Stocks for Dummies", nothing to in depth but enough info that I'll know how it all works. Also what is the best online site to buy and trade stocks? I said simple and easy to understand.

- LOL...actually, I was going to recommend a book called "Investing for Dummies." Did wonders to explain the stock market to me in very easy to understand terms. Initially (pre-book) I invested $10,000 in the stock market. Within months it was worth only $2,000. I read the book and now my stock is worth about $18,000 (took 2 years to get it back up though).
- Motley Fool is a great site Schwab.com is a great site thestreet.com with Kramer is good and yahoo finance for basic info
- Try www.smartmoney.com ...there is a section called investing 101, personal finance 101, college stuff 101. Go to each section and learn :). Also try www.fool.com (don't get scared by the name). Motley Fool is a great place to learn but its a paid subscription fee service. There is an advantage when you have a paid service. There are fewer morons hanging out on the boards. Actually, most of the people on MF are very nice and very helpfull. Rival
- You will find basic information on investing at those web pages, good luck!
