what is the best site for trading stocks?
I dont need a lot of tools. I just want to find a good simple innexpensive site that has a low minimum balance. I'm new to stocks and I just want to see how it works.

- If you are new, then you should really consult a financial advisor! But, you can check sites like ETrade, TD Amritrade, Schwab.
- Try www.zecco.com which has free trades.
- scott trade is good, $7 trades and I think a minimum starting balance of $500. I use TD Ameritrade. $1 minimum starting balance and $9.99 trades. These are 2 of the less expensive brokers you'll find.
- zecco and sogo has serious customer service issues I would stay away from those two cheaper is not always better. Scottrade or Trade King (or e trade and tdameritrade) will get my votes.
