(Few trade and big volume) 2, is there any services and fee comparison chart for all those online brokers? Thanks
Are there any legitimate online certificate courses for stock market investment training? Hello there! I am looking for an online course(s) that are geared towards teaching (academic) how to invest in the stock market. I don't care for get rich quick schemes - just how to invest and understand the market, basics of economics, etc. I don't care if it is from an actual university or not - just a reputable entity and offering a certificate for this would be a PLUS - cost is not an issue. Thanks!

What is a good online stock trading broker? I am currently with sharebuilder, but I do not have any money in my portfolio simply because right now I'm learning by reading their website and some books namely "stock investing for dummies." Anyways from some opinions I have heard about sharebuilder is that it is a great place for the beginning stock trader to begin but some of the drawbacks mentioned were that they have high fees. I wanted to know from anyone that is a novice, intermediate, or very experienced online stock trader which brokers they have used, the pros and cons to each one (ease of use, reasonable fees), and ultimately which broker they currently use.
Whats a good online stock broker? I only have about $500 to invest, and my strategy calls for frequent trades. I don't need help looking for stocks or doing much research. Also, this will be the first time that I've ever traded online. Thanks for your help guys! I only have about $500 to invest, and my strategy calls for frequent trades; generally penny stocks. I don't need help looking for stocks or doing much research. Also, this will be the first time that I've ever traded online. Thanks for your help guys! Sory, new to this. What I wanted to add on there was that I generally do frequent, high volume, penny stock trades.
What is the most reliable online stock broker to use if trading in an overseas market? I want to trade stocks online in overseas markets like India, Singapore, China, and Japan. What is the most reliable and reputable online brokerage service to use? If you have no knowledge of the named topic, please don't conjecture or confabulate i.e. "Well, you should research what markets you want to invest in or go through a U.S. based firm for advice." These aren't answers.
What happens when I switch online brokers? Hi, I will start investing in stocks online in a few months. Because I can only start investing with a small amount each month I will use Sharebuilder.com since it is the cheapest that I can find. With Sharebuilder I can also buy portions of a stock. Eventually, I expect to switch online brokers once the amount that I am putting in increases. What happens when I switch brokers? Is it a easy process or a complicated one?
Online Investing? What sites would you recommend for investing online, whether it be stocks or other ? I don't want to have to go through the bank and pay them the outrageous amounts they change for trading.
Please explain the ins and outs of online investing to me!! (19 year old with limited $)? I am a 19 year old student. With my small-time job, I am able to invest roughly $300 a month. I want to use an online investment firm to invest my money. Wanted Vanguard but I dont meet the $3000 minimum. I am now considering ETrade or similar. I would like to invest in mainly mutual funds, index funds, and REITs. My time horizon is 10 years. I am willing to take some risk, but not enough to invest in individual stocks. I want to open an account online...but when do I buy my stocks? I don't mean according to the market but rather, do I fund my account with $300 on a monthly basis or simply wait some time until I have accumulated ~ $2000+ and then start investing? What worries me is transaction fees associated with online trading. With my small sum of money, I will be able to buy less than 100 stocks but still pay the flat fee of $10-$15...if I waited, I could buy more but I would also lose time by waiting for $ to gather. How do people w/ small sums of $ get started!? Help! Thank you!

I am 15 and want to learn how to invest and how the stock market works, any online sites/books or your advice? Thank you, your own advice would be helpful to. I do know the game is hard to play but I am dead set on learning how everything works... and please don't say "You have an economics/life smarts class... pay attention in there and you will know" If you plan to say that please don't answer this question... I recieved an A in that class and did not go in-depth into the stock market/investing... if they did I would've known... I payed attention, and PLEASE don't criticize me cause of my age and saying "Your not old enough so who cares..." or something like that. Sorry about that whole speech there (and the grammar probably wasn't great either) but I am really tired of people doing that to me. Thanks for your input, HP You can also e-mail me lmohldnpg@aim.com
Affordable online investing for small investor? Are there any ways I can invest in individual stocks without paying huge fees? I'd like to set up an account where I put maybe $50-$100 a month into it, and have some choice regarding what stocks these funds are invested in. I've looked at sites like etrade, scottrade, and sharbuilder, but when they're talking about $7 trades, or $12 monthly fees, that takes a BIG chunk out of my money. If I'm starting out by giving up 10% of my investment off the top, it hardly seems worth it. Actually, DRIP stands for Dividend Re-Investment Plan, but your posting did give me some direction. Thanks.
I am looking for an online stock/investment firm? I got screwed by E-Trade... I invested $1000, and forgot about it, I come back 2 years later and my account is worth 650$ cause they were charging me 25$ a quarter from some fee. I just want a firm that I can buy some stock online, keep it for as long as I want and not get feed to death every quarter. I would invest $1000 at the start and prob put in 100$ a month and buy stocks long term... prob 5 trades a year. Any suggestions?

whats the best online stock broker for me? Im new to stocks i haven't ever traded online. However i have used many virtual trading programs and i have a good concept on how trading works. I believe i am ready to start the real thing. Im attracted to brokers like zecco because they say they have 10 free monthly trades and about 4 dollars for each trade after that. However it leads me to believe that they must not have many good services for customers. Then i looked into trade king. Because they seemed to have better trading tools and service, still with a low commission fee. However since i haven't ever traded online im not familiar with the problems im going to face. Please recommend me a internet broker i should use. Thank you for your help. PS. I have $5000 USD to invest, loosing this investment isn't that big of a deal to me. My main goal is to learn. and excuse me for my spelling errors I typed this fast. =)

Boeing Stock student investing? I just invested $500 on Boeing stock and I have no Idea of how the stock market really works. I'm a student majoring in engineering and had $500 dollars sitting around so I went online and setup an account so that $500 will be deposited into Household Bank ShareBuilder account then into boeing stock. My question is how will i make money or what do i look for to find out if im making anything or losing anything. I looked at the 5year term for boeing and trend looked good but i dont know how that will affect my $500. I was kind of bored and decided to invest some money with really no direction but i figured if i get my hands in the pie i will understand the stock market better then just having to read books all day. Now im really interested since its my money at stake. Any help I would gladly appreciate it. Thankyou
